STUDENT ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The course you are taking is a Texas Real Estate Commission approved course that complies with TREC requirements as of January 1, 2023. Commission rules state:

Students should not complete a course in less time than the hours prescribed by TREC. For example, you should not complete a 30-hour course in less than 30 hours or an 18-hour course in less than 18 hours.

Students will undergo an identity validation process during the course and the final exam to ensure that the person taking the course is the same as the person seeking credit.

Final exams will be proctored by school’s instructor or staff. Final exams are closed book.

The final exam will be given on the last day of the class. If the student is unable to sit for the final exam, but has completed the course in full, the student may arrange a time between the hours of 8:00am – 4pm, Monday-Friday to take the final exam at the school by appointment.

According to the criminal history eligibility guidelines set out in Texas Occupations Code §53.025 and TREC Rule 541.1, a criminal history may make students ineligible for the license. You may request a criminal history evaluation prior to enrolling in courses or applying for a real estate license. You may request a criminal history evaluation by submitting a completed Fitness Determination Form to TREC prior to applying for a license.

You agree to receive marketing and educational emails from All About Texas Real Estate (AATRE) Institute. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time.

TUITION

Tuition is $259.99 per course, and $249.99 if all six required courses were purchased at the same time. No additional fees will be charged for supplies and materials.

COURSE BOOKS: The textbooks and handouts are included with your course and will be provided every day of class. A PDF version of course book, as well as course handouts will be provided to student  at no cost, but provided hard copy textbooks are property of the school.  Hard copy textbooks are available for students to purchase at AATRE.com.

REFUND POLICY

There is a 5% processing fee on all refunds. No refunds will be issued after 7 days of registration. You will need your reservation ID to cancel your registration. You must cancel online at: WWW.AATRE.COM. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for us to process your refund. AATRE reserves the right to cancel any scheduled class for insufficient enrollment, lack of instructor or inclement weather. In the event of cancellation by the school, all tuition will be refunded promptly in full, or may be transferred by you to another course at no additional charge.

COURSE GUIDELINES

TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THE COURSE: You must attend the entire class, complete all course work and any makeup sessions required, AND pass the final exam with a score of 70% or better to receive credit.

MAKEUP PROCEDURES: If you miss less than 10 hours of the class, you will be permitted to complete a makeup session and still receive credit. Any time missed in class MUST be made up by attending a corresponding class covering the material previously missed or, if available, by watching and listening to the broadcast version of the same course and same material at All About Texas Real Estate School during regular business hours of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday. All makeup work must be complete within 90 days from the date the original class concluded. If you fail to complete makeup work within 90 days from the date the original class concluded, you will automatically be dropped from the course with no credit or refund.

If you miss more than 10 hours, you will be automatically dropped from the course with no credit or refund.

EXAM PREP COURSE

This is an 8-hour Texas Real Estate Exam Prep Course. Class time is from 9:00am-5:30pm. Any time missed in this course can be made up the next time the course is offered and is your responsibility to check our calendar for available dates.

Schedule your exam prep course in advance to ensure you have a seat on the day of class. Online course calendar is located on our site at: https://allabouttexasrealestate.com/classchedule/

Once you pay for an Exam Prep course, you may audit or retake the course without having to pay for the course again.

Your enrollment will be terminated for anti-social or disruptive behavior, as viewed by school staff or instructor(s). Any student terminated for these reasons will not be permitted to re-enter the school. Refunds are not permitted when a student is terminated from the school.

FINAL EXAM: You have two attempts to pass the final exam. You will be presented with a final exam on the last day of the class if you have attended the entire 30-hour class, completed all course work and any makeup sessions required. If you do not pass the exam within 90 days from the date the original class concluded, the class must be repeated.

If you fail the first attempt, you will have to contact All About Texas Real Estate School to set up an appointment to come in and take your proctored final exam. You may arrange a time between the hours of 8:00 AM – 4 PM, Monday-Friday. The first failed exam will be reset at no cost to you. If you do not retest within 90 days from the date the original class concluded, the entire course will need to be repeated.

If you fail the second attempt, as per TREC guidelines, the course will need to be repeated. To repeat the course, you will have to contact All About Texas Real Estate School and pay a course reset fee of $75.

NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS

By signing this agreement, I, the registered student, verify that I will be completing, in its entirety, the purchased course(s) I am registered for. I agree to be the only person registered, taking, completing, and accepting credit for the course(s).

I also understand that if any other person completes any parts of what is required of me to obtain credit for successful completion of, my course(s) that the provider, All About Texas Real Estate School, will be unable to award said credit, in accordance with the Texas Real Estate Law.

I agree to receipt of future emails and understand I may opt out at any time.
